ELEANOR POWELL (Page 2) Favourite Movie

Hello Lynn and everyone. Come on everyone out there, please let us know your favourite Eleanor Powell film/movie of all time. I only have the "Broadway Melody" of 1940 on DVD, but what a lovely, adorable and glorious couple Eleanor Powell and Fred Astaire make in the movie. Their absolutely fantastic dance routine to "Begin The Beguine" is out of this world, so thrilling and enthralling. It gives me a longing and a desperate desire to wish I had been around in those romantic and heavenly silver screen day's.

I love watching "Ellie" on the silver screen, she look's radiant, so cute and she seem's such a homely and loving type of person, I adore and love "Ellie" to bit's. No one can match her personality, in my opinion. I also love the way she talk's.

The "Broadway Melody of 1940" is a lovely movie, an absolute joy to watch, Ellie is stunning in look's and her tremendous dancing is so sublime. I don't know about looking like a million dollar's, Ellie definitely look's like ten million dollar's in my eyes.

So please let us know your favourite Ellie movie. She starred and appeared in about fifteen film's during her career, so you have a few to choose from. I cannot wait to read everyone's replies and to know their reason's for liking a particular Eleanor Powell movie.

"Our Darling Ellie Is A Star In Heaven - With All Our Love She Is Given"
"Dearest Ellie Was The Apple Of My Eye - Now She's In Heaven, I Want To CRY"

"My Tears Will Fall Now That Your Gone"
"I Truly Love And Adore You Ellie (God Bless)"

Thank you ROBERT M.
