Jane Wyatt dies at 96
Well, I just heard that Jane Wyatt has died. Another one, gone. I remember her for many of her films, including one of my favorites, Lost Horizon where she co-starred with Ronald Colman. I guess I have to also say that I remember her most for her portrayal of Margaret Anderson in "Father Knows Best". I truly loved that show when I was a kid. She will be missed. |

Lynn how wonderful of you to remember her. I've read your post and still can't figure out who she was and I consider myself a near expert on Americana from the 20's to 60's. Was she the mother on Father Know's Best? I can't even picture the mom's face. Anyway, as you wrote, "another one gone." How sad. Just where are we going now, as a human race? |

Hello Russell, Lyn and everyone. If you go to IMDb Russell you will find out all about Jane Wyatt, which includes a couple of photographs of Jane with Robert Young, from as you mention "Father Knows Best" in which she DID play the mother. Jane made many movies, in fact she made her film debut in 1934. ROBERT M. |
