need title of movie and who is the lead actress and actor
please help...i need a title of a movie...in the beginning this leading actress is i think behind the iron curtain and she left her daughter in the u.s. when she does leave the place where she is and flees to the u.s. her daughter is older and living with her father. the daughter and the father didnt know she was still alive..the daughter is about 9 or 10. she shows up at their house and the daughter of course does not believe she is her mother...until the end of the movie where another actor draws a picture for the little girl and tells her that the picture is of her mother and the woman who was about to leave the little girl is the lady in the picture...i know it sounds weird but i havent seen this movie in about 15 or 20 yrs. i hope someone out there can try to help me with the title and actress name... thank you |

Could it be "Never say goodbye" 1956? Synopsis: This emotional drama concerns a WWII medic who marries a German woman but leaves her in a jealous rage, taking their baby with him. They lose touch after she is arrested behind the Iron Curtain after the war. Eight years later, she sees him in a Chicago cafe, rushes across the street to see him, and is hit by a truck.
