Help with a movie title please
I have been trying to remember the title of a movie. It is a comedy. Two men are ghosts that are attached to a house in the country - they cannot leave the property. They have on tri corner hats, and hang out in a tree next to the well where they died. A girl comes to the house with a group of people who are trying to take advantage of her. The ghosts try to help her. I think at the end she dies because I remember the closing scene is all three of them in the tree by the well. Sorry so vauge, I used to think the title was Connecticut Yankees....... Thanks I feel like the men were paired up alot as a comedy team, but when I search and search through different teams film credits I can never find anything that resembles this movie. |

The movie is "The Time of Their Lives" with Abbott and Costello made in l946 about two ghosts who were mistakenly branded as traitors during the Revolutionary War and return to 20th century New England to retieve a letter from George Washington which would prove their innocence. |
