Eleanor Powell "Boxset"
Hello Lyn and everyone. Some really GREAT news for all Eleanor Powell fans who have been starved of DVD/Video releases over the years (apart from the beautiful "Broadway Melody of 1940" DVD release). Warner Home Video have announced an "Ellie" Boxset to be released, hopefully by the end of this year..................................WHOOPEEE!!!! or by early next year at the very latest   I'm not being greedy here, but I hope ALL of Eleanor's films will be on the Boxset...............hopefully. Plus I would dearly love a documentary disc on Ellie to be part of the package. That would be absolutely great All of Ellies fans have waited a very long time for something like thing to be made available. Lets hope it is a really mouth watering "Boxset". |

Well four more Ellie movies were released onto DVD on the 8th April, in the Classic Musical's from the Dream Factory Volume 3 boxset. This makes 5 Ellie film's available on DVD now. I pre-ordered from Amazon for about $49.00, but the set now cost's about $69.00, but it is cheaper through their markeplace sellers
