My Man Godfrey DVD
I was browsing Amazon.com, and there were so many different DVD versions of My Man Godfrey available! One is $36, which is astonishing, and then there was a $10 one in b&w and colour, etc. Is one of the cheaper ones just as good as the Criterion Collection one?? |

Not even close. Save your money until you can get the Criterion version. The extras enough are worth the price of admission. And the transfer is first rate. |

Thanks :-) I wonder why a popular old film like that is so expensive, while some other great ones, like Roman Holiday, are so cheap! |

The Criterion Dvd by their standards was a little dissapointing some sections where over bright, its hard to believe that one of the most beloved of American movies has fell into this state |
