Three movies I can't find title of...
There are three movies I saw when I was a child in the sixties. I know I liked them but remember only a small part. First one: Something about a girl must be sacrificed to a volcano. There was chanting on the ridge of the volcano and later the girl was walking along the bottom of the volcano as lava flowed nearby. (I think she was going to be burned up later but showed her alive at this point). That's all I remember of that one. Second one: There was some reason a convent or similar structure was destroyed, the people running around were looking for a certain nun. But all they found was her Bible on the ground. It was lying there, the cover and first pages gently moving from the breeze, and I think it was night time. Third one: Some boys were standing around in toga like outfits and buildings resembling those seen in Roman ruins. The one tall boy was complaining, he didn't want to be born and be a baby, etc. Some boat or bus or something was going to come pick these children up to go be born on earth, I guess. It was in black and white. |
