My Glassy Dream
Thoughtless windows stare cold, Hands tremble in shadowy dawns, Stars melt into morning blue, Cobwebs whisper in darkened corners, Entire establishments crumble, Societies hands burn with suspicion, Pawns of war negotiate a truce, But it means nothing to me… My subtle existence is flawed, My dreams shatter with open souls, Scissors slice through woollen streams, Like a puppet without strings, Fingers bleed with broken nails, An everlasting torrent of harmful remarks, And my feelings weep onto the paper, An un-removeable stain… But this means nothing to them, This soul wrenching feeling of disapproval, Rejection tears me to ribbons, But it means nothing to me… Plagued by the thought of a broken dream, Civilisation collapses and implodes, Smoke dances in growing flames, And I lay sprawling with an open letter… This crumbling society fails to comprehend, My theory of this "falling" fallacy, And in my flailing hands I see, The moonlight shining down... on me... Ok i wrote this a few days ago but i want sum feedback so that i may be able to improve it!! thanx alot for reading! |
