Picasso

An Empty Space,
Of Blank Thoughtless White,
Empty Yet Satisfying,
Angles Expand And Contract,
Lines Cross At Junctions,

Invisible,
Stare And See,
This Beautiful Picasso,
Van Gogh Skulks In Corners,
Doodles Litter,

Pain Staking Collage,
A Dream Of Dreams,
Compressing And Elongating,
Constantly Changing,
Morphing,
Moulding,

No Longer 2D,
Colours Fly Toward You,
A Dance,
Ritual,
Sacrifice Of Art,

Calm And Quiet,
Soft Wavy Patterns,
Hesitantly Merge Together,
Forming A Barrage Of Images,

Sight So Wonderful In Its Appearance,
Fireworks On Canvas,
Emotions Carved In Swift Swipes,
Capturing The Mood,

Sharp Smooth,
Curved Calm,
Broken Bleeding,
Obscure Obvious,

And Only Stands This Blank Canvas,
Empty Lonely,
Yet All Can See Its Inner Beauty,
It Is Not Shrouded,
It Is Displayed In Perfection,

From The Mind Of The Critic,
To The Mind Of The Artist,
To The Imagination...
...Of A Child.
