Memories of a Fallen Angel
Memories of a Fallen Angel In brilliance rimmed with beauty and gentleness you came Found me under hiding sleeping away the pain By the hand you took me and helped me to my feet Instilled in me a will to live and oh how very sweet You treated me like royalty and brought life to me again In you I found a brother a lover and a friend Your mind just keeps exuding wealth beyond its days Together we communicate in so many different ways To live a life of wonder enjoying every drop Envisioning tomorrow please time don’t ever stop Every day I spent with you I loved looking in your eyes What depth of memories of suffering and overcoming I want to cry And though our days have come to end believe me I am free To seek out hearts of gentle men with minds similarly I shall no longer hibernate I have no pain left inside Though you came and now are gone you gave me back my pride So I shall start the journey strong and pure and true Hoping the gods will bless me with another angel like you Bebeya (workinprogress) |
