DIDS AND WISHES Merry it goes my love, a heart like mine Relentless in love; relentless it beats Even when sadness undisputable A mere thought of you – all my desire The nights I dread, for to hold my crave Memories may faint, yet love glows Shame! Sometimes my sight strays, o shame! My efforts in vain, nil stands your charm O bloody waste of time! A lustful pursuit Fears. For tonight your ghost I lay My passion sleeps awake – for far, my wishes can reach Nothing shall suffer or lack my offering Fact. Even my vain of blood For you to lay, lazy-like in truth by my side O! how I wish for fullness of thou fold Then my world, worthy to liveth. |
