Children Aquathons & Triathlons
My son is currently completing his first season and is competing at Tristar1. He has completed in a couple of children's events outside the region were the events have allowed for novices and/or parents to enter. I think this is a great idea as it makes it a family day!..Why not do the same in next years children's events! Any comments pls

It does seem a good idea to introduce the sport to parents or novices like this, as a matter of fact this has already been discussed as a possibility for the York Junior Triathlon taking place on the 23rd July. Once we have worked out wether it is feasible in the pool time we have available. Keep checking this website for any updates.

Sounds like a great idea. The organisers of the ChildLine Triathlon will consider it for next year. It may or may not be feasible as the organising and managing of a childrens event in itself if a considerable feat. Thanks for the idea though, what sort of distance would you think appropriate? |
