Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen.
I tried to send an email to the commander of the 1st US Cavalry which was refused(?). I'm sure it is a computer thing. Anyway, I noticed this communication forum and decided to place a post.
I was just curious if this was the same unit I had originally formed and commanded back in 1989 as a Captain of the Sons of Veterans Reserve (SUVCW). The site stated that the unit has been in continuous existence for 30 years, so it is likely not the same. I turned over reins of my unit to my dear friend Scott Evansen in the early 90's and he continued to command it for many years. Our unit originally joined the NWCWC when it was created. I see that the organization has come a long way and done quite well for itself in promoting all of the various groups over the years. Well, enough of my rambling. I salute all of you for a job well done and wish you continued success in the years to come.
To the hilt!
