Steve Taylor here. I am opening a theatre in Stevenson, WA next month that will run a Wild-West themed show for most of the summer, May 23 to September 20th, usually on Friday and Saturday nights (some weeks Thursday too). The first half of the show will be an old-fashioned, family friendly melodrama and the second half a variety show featuring the same cast members performing a special talent, skill, song, etc. Please check out the website at www.GoldenGarter.com for complete information.
Why I am writing is that we held open auditions recently for the paid cast members and although we were able to cast most of the parts, one of the most important parts, the villain (aka The Magnificent Marvello - an evil magician!) was not cast as we didn't have any adult males we felt strong enough to carry the part. Therefore, if any of you performers out there are feeling a little "evil," a little "hammy," and would be interested in trying out for this fun and fulfilling role and join us in this unique family-friendly endeavor, please call me personally, or send me an email and let me know immediately!
