Please join us for our Monday Evening Chat and Film Viewing as we gather together to round out our celebration of the recent release of the “Charlie Chan Collection, Volume 4” from 20th Century-Fox. This time we will watch and City in Darkness.” This picture shouts from the pages of history as Charlie Chan finds himself in the midst of a Paris that is darkened by the threat of impending war. Murder and international intrigue test the skills of America’s greatest detective, who offers a prophetic message at the close of the action.
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., EASTERN time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
