Skipping the life story that you generously graced us with, I would like to answer to the supposed "point" of your post.
We did not "lie" about the heights and weights, the characters are fictional (not real) - sorry, I don't mean to patronise (to talk down to) you.
You see, we know that we are not really seven feet tall (it's kinda obvious when we get up in the morning) and we are not pretending to be so. We invented the heights and weights to suit the characters in the federation. It is NOT REAL. The characters are the SAME PEOPLE OVER AND OVER AGAIN. How could they be different sizes?
We have a "Real Life" page where we explain all this stuff, but basically we do not think it makes us look better (since when was being tall a talent?) we just put it in there for the creative value.
