Anybody Using Wool Diaper Covers

I have heard wool covers are great but I don't want to spend $20-25 to get some if there not worth it. Anybody have any experience with specific brands? What did you pay for them? Do they wick? Are they durable, etc?

Re: Anybody Using Wool Diaper Covers

Since you only need 2-3 wool covers total, $20 ea is a good deal! Wool covers are antimicrobial, antibacterial, and therefore, if used with fitted diapers, and not poopy, don't need to be washed but every few months or so. If poopy or stinky, obviously you'll need to wash them in a nice Eucalan wool wash.

Wool diaper covers and fitted diapers are the most breathable, natural diapering system you can use if you want an easy to use system with no pinning or folding.

The wool covers of today are made of super soft merino wool specially milled without harsh chemicals that make other wool so itchy. These soft covers retain their natural lanolin to keep them totally waterproof. In fact if you pair a good absorbent fitted, and a wool cover, and maybe an extra doubler or two, you have the most absorbent, breathable system available!

In most diapering circles, wool diaper covers are coveted as being THE BEST!

Sarah
Good luck!
