diaperrash

MY 3 year old has a realy bad diaper rash with little red craters and also some red spots. I'm having a hard time to get rid of it. She had it before. She seems to be better with disposables. But there must be a way to have no rash with cloths.I try to use mostly fleece to keep her buttom more dry. I'm using laundry soap from Trader Joes. Also experimenting with borax and vinegar. Once in a while I add tea tree oil. But at this point I can't tell what work and what not especially bec she still has her rash. How are other moms dealing with it? What detergant to use? What creams are best? I'm desperate. Thanks Friederike

Re: diaperrash

I like Burts Bees diaper Ointment. I have heard a that just plain corn starch works great but if it makes the rash worse then you have a yeast rash. I would try that and maybe give your diapers an extra rinse cycle after the wash. Hope That helps.

Re: diaperrash

I like Pink Save. This works like a pro and usually gets rid of rash within a day. You can ask for it at the Pharmacy counter at Rite Aide. If they dont have it in stock they can order for you.
