Message:		a lot of the symptoms that i see in my mother seem to point to either factitious disorder or munchhausen.i am at a loss as to what it is or what to do.she has always made up fake ailments and or diseases that she has. she will claim that the dr.s have told her not to do this or that and i will find out that she lied about even going to the dr. I don't believe she has ever hurt herself in an attempt to mimick a medical problem, but she frequently lies about going to the dr's and her diagnosis. She definitely gets worse when she is under stress. If anybody has an answer as to what going on with her and how to get her to realize what she is doing, please let me know.
