Message:   Thank you for your valuable insight. I am going to look for a copy of your book. At one time (maybe two years ago) one of her kidney stone's was analyzed as uric acid, but I do not know if there has been any positive tests since then. I want to talk to her doctor just to tell him my feelings on her illness but I would feel horrible if I am wrong. I am afraid that maybe she is telling the truth and I am being untrusting of her. Is it possible for someone too have this many infections/stones that are NOT factitious? I want to talk to her about it also but again afraid I am way off base. I think I should maybe read your book first then try to figure this out. I was reading that childhood abuse can be a factor in developing Munchausen, I know she was severely sexually abused as a child and teenager is it possible for that trauma to also cause these physical problems? I have tried to get her to go to a therapist but she says she is handling it fine and doesn't want to stir up old hurts. Is there a better way to talk her into seeing a therapist?
