Message:		Hello Amber, I think there's one common thread amongst all of the people that we're talking about here on this board. People with a normal thought process don't lie about DR visits, and illnesses, and also to the extent to where it becomes routine. With that said, a DR would have to make a diagnosis, but if anyone is faking illnesses, lying about DR appointments, and "playing the sick role" there's something really wrong with that person for sure and it should be taken seriously. The hard part is getting someone like that to admit they have a problem or go in for a evaluation. There are lots of books on the subject, but my thoughts are like wow all of these stories are different but the same if that makes sense. So whatever the diagnosis is the people that we're talking about on this board definitely have something severly wrong with them. Let us know how things are going Amber. Thanks, S
