Update on progress

Hello Everyone,

I want to let all of you know Trey and Connor are doing well. Trey has gained 59 grams, and has been doing really well. He's been off the ventilator for over a week now, and has been on the canula since discarding the vent, he's also graduated from the warmer to the isolette. He's taking and tolerating 6 cc of breast milk an hour for three hours, and off for one hour. Connor is still on the vent, but he's down to 23% O2. His first head scan showed he does have a bleed, but his second scan shows it's a bit better now, it was between a 2 amd a 3 on the first scan, but the dr said it is better. They haven't weighed him because of him being on the ventilator. He is taking and tolerating 5 cc of breast milk, and he appears to have put on weight. I know I probably sound biased, but they really are so cute. BEST WISHES TO ALL OF YOU!!!!

Re: Update on progress

Hi Debbie,

Thanks for telling us how Trey and Connor are doing. Trey sounds like a very strong little boy! I hope Connor keeps improving each day and that they will be able to take him off the vent soon. I know it is hard and seems like each day lasts forever but when those precious bundles are taken home the time in NICU will be a distant memory.

Love to all your family and hugs for Trey and Connor.

Take care,

Vicki
