Saying hello
It's been a while since I've had a look at the site so I thought I might post here and introduce myself..... I'm Kate, Mum to Isabella and Zoe who were born at 29.6 weeks due to TTTS. The girls have just turned one and apart from being a bit on the small side you would never know they spent 10 long weeks in hospital, more than half that time on cpap! I remember being so desperate for information when we first got our diagnosis and finding lots of US information that wasn't very promising... luckily we have the best OB in the world (yes I am biased) and he sent me here and I've been so grateful to him and especially to everyone who has worked hard to put this together! This year has been a crazy one but I feel I am finally coming out of the fog (so to speak) and am wanting to do something to help other's who have been through similar circumstances. I've joined with a group who are re-establishing the old 'earlybirds' group at RWH here in Melbounre and ultimately would love to be able to offer real life support to those going through TTTS through that group... but we have a lot of work to do before we get to that stage! In the mean time if there is anything I can do to help out with this site.. if you'd like me to share our story or anything.. please let me know!
