We would like to add another Smooth to our family and would really prefer a rescue dog - does anyone know of a rescue group for Smooths? I have contacted the SCCGB but all the rescues seem only to have Roughs.

We are in Yorkshire but would travel anywhere in the UK. Would prefer a male, any colour or age. Ideally we would want to work with him in obedience and agility - like Jake - even if just for fun.

Hi Janet,

Did you find a rescue Smooth? I know there have been a couple recently looking for homes.

If not, it would be worth letting the SCCGB webmaster know that you are looking, as she is likely to know of any that come up. Also the Secretary of the SCCGB. (Links to their site can be found from this site).

Collie Rescue (Rough & Smooth) do tend just to get Roughs.
