Hello,
I have two collies...they are my babies. I love them very much.
They eat lamb and rice dry dog food and only treats with no corn. I use oatmeal shampoo on them, however, Suzy has really dry skin and Lexi has a thin coat, no undercoat to speak of. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you tried feeding raw food? I don't feed mine the crushed up bones, but I love the BARF diet (40% meat, 10% organs, 10% pumpkin, 40% fruit and veggies). We also add calcium powder.
We make it ourselves. We have two dogs with lovely, shiny, thick coats and they don't shed much at all.
I know that the raw has been said to help with skin and coat problems. Specifically for the skin you add a few tablespoons of flax seed oil to the food.
