Highs and Lows of todays game.
Having arrived at the game today i was shocked to find that Worcester were charging a tenner to get in. Then found out that Troy Wood had signed for Worcester City there gain our loss, thought this is a bad day. Had a beer while waiting for the faithful to arrive no sign.The game was a good hard fought game in which Evesham dominated for large spells of the first half,Mark Owen scored the opener, only for Danks to level the scores before half time. The inevitable changes were made but Worcester became dominant when Webster and then Troy Wood scored to make it 3.1. The new look Evesham squad did not drop there heads and was all over City for the rest of the game up popped James Knott to pull a goal back, Evesham kept attacking but to no avail. Final score Worcester City 3 Evesham Utd 2. |

thanks smithy for the result i am realy upset troy has not come to evesham but we will have to hope the rest of the team are up for it , i noticed there were some new faces what do you think of them at this stage , do you think we have a chance this year , i had no choice to miss the game as i had other comitments but i hope to be there next game . |

Westy gave all the new faces a good run out, in my opinion they all played there part, some looked more settled and at home at a higher league than others, but Westy and his crew could end up with a good problem when it comes to a partner for Mark Owen. All newcomers looked very usful, to early to name names and unfair on the squad but i have my own thoughts and ideas. |
