You have heard this and will keep hearing it, but You Can Do It. Hard, very, but you have no choice. YOU will look back and wonder why you didn't do it sooner. Just take one day, one step at a time, but DO IT NOW!!!!! Make a plan, keep it simple, and GO the first chance you get.
If you do have him arrested, while he is being booked you could take what you have to and go to a shelter. They can help.
