Message:		Debbi I just wanted to stop in and tell you how happy I am that you were able to get out of the abusive situation you were in, be able to move on with your life and mend slightly broken relationships. I have a very good friend in a similar situation....left her very stable and loving husband for someone more adventurous. He became emotionally and mentally abusive to her and she is now on her own........and is too....lonely. She comments to me every now and then that she realizes how foolish she was to leave the first husband and that she still loved and cared for him very much. I asked her why she hadn't tried to redevelop a new relationship and I got the same answer as you......she said she was afraid of rejection. I'm so glad that you were able to move beyond your fears and find out what you need to know. A word of caution.....please do not think that you have to go back to your ex because noone else has come along. Do not "settle" because you're lonely....Life is too short to compromise true happiness w/ones self. Again, kudos to you and I hope that you find what you're looking for. God Bless!
