Nets and Derbyshire

Have you been and watched Derbyshire v Somerset yet JP. They seem to have some sort of hold over somerset, even simon katich can score runs againist them and Langer has a nightmare!

Also i can't make nets as i am going to an important football match which i suggest you watch on sky if you have it. Sky Sports 1 at 8!

Which will mean that Exeter will bottle it (as they do every time they see the Sky Sports van)!

Re: Nets and Derbyshire

Ace, your luck did change

Listened to the extra time on Radio Devon - after watching the internet text commentary for the 90 mins - you killed them.

The commentary for the penalties was a classic - when one bloke stepped up - ?Mackie I think his name was, the guy in broadest Devon is going 'Oh dear, I 'm not happy, this isn't right etc and then . . . Jesus Christ hes scored!'

Re: Nets and Derbyshire

Now Woodsy, you will be off to Wembley I suppose?! One down for the first league game. Anyone else?

Hopefully the Exeter team will depleted as a result of the final.

Re: Nets and Derbyshire

Assume St James will be depleted. They have lost a lot of players as it is so might be best for Den to check they are still Ok for the game.

Exeter were the better team so deserved to go through

Re: Nets and Derbyshire

Ill probably unavailable for the Exeter st James match. In my unbias view i thought Exeter where totally worth the win. But the agony of pens, and every thing else was worth it! Wembley, wembley, we are the famous exeter city and we are of to wembley.

Re: Nets and Derbyshire

Seeing as this is at least half a Derbyshire thread:

'Wembley, wembley, we are the famous exeter city and we are of to wembley.'

For Exeter City read Derby County - maybe, just, possibly, fingers crossed - that is OFF to Wembley, not 'of'.

Derbyshire won as well.

Good arrers!

Re: Nets and Derbyshire

So how much did Derby Pay him! Terrible Penalty that put you through. If Southampton had done it would have been almost a spitting image of exeters game, apart from a few more goals. I ll tell you how good Wembley is after sunday!

Was a bit worried by the similarities - FlyBe being one of them. But good old Idiakez - once a Ram always a Ram!

Re: Nets and Derbyshire

But it was one of your old boys that put you into extra time and he scored a penalty - Rasiak.

You were very very lucky, Southampton deserved to win on last night's effort

Re: Nets and Derbyshire

Prospects for Magpies look secure judging by the quality of prospective new cattle fodder for the premiership. One place above relegation spot is our starting point!!

Re: Nets and Derbyshire

Probably your finsihing point too. May as well just give away the money Freddie as invest it in the club - seems to have the same outcome!

Re: Nets and Derbyshire

Not unlucky - just didn't play well enough. Expect you to get through next week but it will be a tough task for you to stay up next season. I personally think Newcastle will be top 6 as long as big Sam can keep Owen and Martins.

Good start for England in the Test Match
