Sculptor and classic film enthusiast Lou Cella wants to sculpt a lifesize Clark Gable sitting on bench in front of the Clark Gable House in Cadiz, Ohio!!!

The Clark Gable Foundation in Cadiz, the hometown of Clark Gable, is on board with this idea. But this is a huge undertaking as a sculpture of that size does not come cheap. To fund this project, Lou has set up a Kickstarter project where you can make a contribution towards the goal of raising $80,000 in 60 days!!! This project kicked off on February 1st (the King's birthday...his 111th birthday). The beauty of Kickstarter is that it can reach people all over the world....and you can donate any amount...which is accepted only if the target goal is met. There are "Reward" levels set by the project owner to help you decide what to donate. Please help spread the word to others interested in Clark Gable, Gone With The Wind, classic movies, American pop culture, and such through your Facebook page or via email or any other means you have.
