Lots of great events this year in southern California
Friday June 3: DKP Cruise in downtown Garden Grove. Get there by 4pm to watch the
cars come in. Free, plenty of good restaurants (We like the Azteca).
Saturday June 4: The OCTO Show in Long beach. If you are looking for parts for any VW,
Many of the venders that attend the other shows bring them here first.
$10.00 for spectators.
Saturday June 4: Rare Vintage Air Show (RVA) at Old World in Huntington Beach. Get to
the OCTO early, then at noon drive the few miles to this show. Some
very rare VW's will be on display. Good restaurants on site.
Free, but parking is a little problematical.
Sunday June 5: The VW Classic Show is being resurrected at the Orange County
Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. Nothing posted yet on costs.
Wednesday-Sunday June 8 to the 12th (Show is on the 12th).
A real happening. Relocated this year to Rancho Jurupa Park in
Riverside. Some years there are 2,000 cars on display.
We will be spectators from June 3 to the 5th.
