On my '76 GTE the turn switch does not cancel on right turns. On left turns - no problem. If I turn to the right all the way then back it will cancel. I can't quite figure out what is not working. I can see how the tab on the steering wheel will cancel the left turn, but it has to go all the way around to hit the tang on a right turn. I've looked at the posts on VW sites, but still cannot figure out how the right turn will cancel. So I don't know if there is something broken that I cannot see, or I'm not setting it up correctly. Purring Pumas had a replacement switch but it doesn't quite look the same as mint (probably not a problem). Before I spend the +$125.00 for the switch I was hoping to see if I could correct the problem.
