June Tactical Information

Ladies & Gentlemen,
I was at the recent EPC mtg and a question was raised about the Tactical and some possible confusion about the kind of event this will be. I wanted to get this cleared up asap and am asking all of you in leadership roles to please help clear up the confusion with these facts;

1 - There is a tactical: - June 9-10 Set up on Friday afternoon, June 8th
(I will have handouts for every unit commander, all Battns at Cheadle
Lake) It is in Colton, OR on BLM property. Nobody but us and all this beautiful acreage and forests. Great vistas!

2- It will be period and only soldiers and official referees will participate in the tactical portion of the event.

3- There is a separate area from the tactical site that will allow for period/non-period camping. People who want to come and relax with fellow reenactor friends can do so in modern or period tents, clothing etc. Tactical participants who want to stay in the woods and do hardcore can do so, or come back to the general camping area and hang out by a warm fire and friends Saturday
evening.

4- This event offers something for everyone, from the most seasoned hardcore veteran reenactor to a new person from the civilian group learning what we are all about. Good place to relax, and not worry about all the normal public events we do.

5- There is water for humans and horses.

6- It cost $15.00 per person 14 and up. They must prepay by June 4th. Make check out to NCWC & mail to my attn: 10600 SW Kiowa St., Tualatin, OR 97062

7- I need referees for the Tactical...they do not have to pay. Anyone interested please call me.

Finally, anyone still confused about this event...............CALL ME!

Thanks much gents, and please make an effort to attend yourselves and see what a beautiful place this is and the fun we can have!
