I double and triple checked with Tri-Met and yes it's ok to have our PERIOD CORRECT weapons, muskets and sidearms, on board. They will be sending out a memo to their staffs reminding them of this.

Now a quick memo to NCWC members, remember ABSOLUTELY NO powder or caps are to be brought to this event. Also, if you're carrying your weapons you should also be in period clothing so there's no question that you're participating in the parade.

They did ask me to remind our folks that if they are riding public transportation that they are sure to pay the fare, since the last thing we want to do is be supporting the parade and then have them end up ticketing one of us for not paying.
