Every year the Baker Street Irregulars and other fans of the Great Detective descend on New York City to celebrate his birthday. This year's event takes place 4-8 January.

Too bad there isn't an annual "Chan weekend" each year somewhere. Last one was hosted by Hawaii Steve in Honolulu, August 2011. It included a Charlie Chan walking tour, Earl Derr Biggers birthday party, & Vintage Charlie Chan Movie Screening (on reel).
Next closest thing (although a mystery writers convention) will be the Left Coast Crime's "Honolulu Havoc" to be held March 16-19, in Honolulu HI. The "Ghost of Honor" Earl Derr Biggers: http://www.leftcoastcrime.org/2017/

Rush, I know the feeling. I might have been able to make the S. Holmes event in NY due to the closer proximity. However, my heart belongs to C.C. I'm playing the lottery to see if I can make the Honolulu Havoc!
