Re: Sidney Toler /Keye Luke - only film together

Dear Lou,

You are nearly there, yes! Li Gung, played by...?

By morning I shall be congratulating you!

Sincerely,
Rush

Re: Sidney Toler /Keye Luke - only film together

Ahhh....
I had to go DEEP into the uncredited cast list for TAOS to find him... without Lou's clue and yours I'd probably never have found him.
I leave this for you, Lou, to say in print.
Talk about your deep knowledge!... you guys are amazing.
Len

Re: Sidney Toler /Keye Luke - only film together

Len, thank your for the honor. However, as for the knowledgeable part, as Sir Fredrick Bruce said in my last post, "mostly luck!"

Of course, here we have the very same actor to have starred in the "FIRST" Mr. Wong film, "The Mysterious Mr. Wong" (1934), starring Bela Lugosi & Wallace Ford: EDWARD PEIL, SR.

T.Y.S.M. Gents. It was a fun ride! LOU

Re: Sidney Toler /Keye Luke - only film together

Dear Lou,

You got it! Edward Peil, Sr., who appeared as the nefarious Li Gung in "Charlie Chan's Chance" (1932):

Good work!

Sincerely,
Rush
