Re: The last remaining Charlie Chan cast member?

Very interesting. She also appeared in "The Shanghai Cobra" that same year (1945) as the "record machine operator"!

I've tried logging in two weeks now, during the Chats--under all three methods. I used to be able to get in under FLASH. However, now it appears:

1. JAVA: My browsers not JAVA enabled (Google Chrome)
2. FLASH: I need Adobe Flash Player version 11.1.0 or greater installed.
3. Mobile/HTML: Error Code=337. This feature is not configured.

I'll keep trying! "The fates are busy, and man may do much to assist" (The House Without a Key, 1925, Chap 7)

Aloha, Lou
P.S. I did start on time and watched the film

Re: The last remaining Charlie Chan cast member?

Hi, Lou!

I am sorry that you have had all the trouble trying to enter our Chat Room. I know that your perseverance will eventually pay off, but what a mess in the meantime! The wheels of "progress" don't seem to make the basics of technology any easier!

Yes, you are right about Janet Warren also appearing in a prominent role in "The Shanghai Cobra" which will be coming up soon (on the 28th) on our Monday Evening Chat schedule. Here is a little more information for Janet Warren, also known as Elaine Morey at this link:

Take care, Lou, and I hope that you will be able to be with us for next week's Chat on "Eclipse Day," if the Internet "fates" are in compliance!

Sincerely,
Rush

Re: The last remaining Charlie Chan cast member?

Rush, thank you so much. I believe what I will try next week then, is using "regular" internet explorer (the blue "e" with the yellow circle around it). I know there are a lot of things you can not do when you one uses Google Chrome. Hope to see you on then, and thanks for the link.

Aloha Lou
