Charlie Chan "actress" sighting: Josephine the Monkey
While watching "The Sea Hawk" (1940) starring Errol Flynn, easily noticed was an animal actress who had to be none other than Josephine the Monkey (though I have found no absolute proof, yet) who was prominently featured in "Charlie Chan at the Race Track." In viewing classic films, it is always a treat for me to see the many Chan veterans who appear, and, in this case, Josephine, who played Lollipop in "Racetrack," was a nice surprise! From what I have found, Josephine was born in 1907 and was active in films from 1921 until at least 1947.
