Asian Americans documentary on PBS - Monday & Tuesday
Asian Americans is a five-hour film series that delivers a bold, fresh perspective on a history that matters today, more than ever. As America becomes more diverse, and more divided, while facing unimaginable challenges, how do we move forward together? Told through intimate and personal lives, the series will cast a new lens on U.S. history and the ongoing role that Asian Americans have played in shaping the nation’s story.
Episode One, airing Monday, May 11th on PBS, features a section of Hollywood's Asian American actors, including Anna May Wong. The preview clip, found by way of a google search, features Ms. Wong with Warner Oland in one of their film appearances together. Undoubtedly, there will be mention and/or reference to the Charlie Chan character on film.
Episode Two airs Tuesday, May 12th on PBS.
