Re: Happy Thanksgiving!

Yes, John, you are right. There are a couple of references to Easter in “Charlie Chan in Reno,” as Chan perfects a method of decorating an Easter egg and Jimmy prepares to take off to assist his Pop in Reno on Easter break from USC. Charlie Chan notes that he has “never met Santa Claus but would happily accept a gift from same” in “Charlie Chan at the Olympics.” However, there was never a mention of Thanksgiving, but there was a mention of Chinese New Year in “The Golden Eye,” and that is about all I can recall of holidays being noted in any way. Maybe we will come across another when we least expect it!

Take care, and thank you, John!

Sincerely,
Rush

Also, in "Charlie Chan in Monte Carlo", the police inspector tells murder suspect Evelyn Gray that "there are no Christmas Trees in Monte Carlo".
