This Sunday's Comic (May 29, 1939) - VS - C.C. at Treasure Island (Sept 8, 1939)
A note of interest. Reference this past Sunday's Charlie Chan Sunday Comic, May 29, 1939:

Ms. Grant has decided to spring for airline tickets for Charlie Chan and Barry Kirk to attend the World Fairs in San Francisco and New York (Charlie & Barry just rescued her, last week.)
Ironically, four months later (September 8, 1939,) the film "Charlie Chan at Treasure Island" was released by 20th Century Fox. Yep, in the film Charlie and son are heading to San Francisco's Golden Gate International Exposition, World Fair, just like in that May comic strip.
It's interesting how Alfred Andriola was in step with his national comic strips with the films and other aspects of all things Charlie Chan. Just an observation from a nerd. T.Y.S.M.
