Tonight's Chat/Film Viewing: "CHARLIE CHAN ON BROADWAY" (8 pm, EDT)
Tonight, "CHARLIE CHAN ON BROADWAY," starring Warner Oland, will be the subject of our weekly Monday Night Chat and Film Viewing. This film is another great pairing of Charlie Chan and number one son, Lee, played, of course, by Keye Luke, whose centennial we are now celebrating!
We begin at our usual time of 8:00 p.m., EASTERN TIME with arrivals and greetings. Thirty minutes later (8:30) we begin rolling our personal copies of
this film, thus allowing us to watch and comment on the onscreen happenings, TOGETHER! If you do not happen to have a copy of "BROADWAY" please join with us anyway, as you WILL be included in our ongoing discussion!

Tonight, I will, perhaps, be able to share my thoughts and description of the "Japanese Gardens" mentioned by Keye Luke in a television interview in the mid-1980s. The transcript of this interview may be read in the "Study" here, at our CCF Home, under the "Keye Luke" heading. This weekend, I had the opportunity to search out and actually find the location of a moment in Chan history humourously recounted by Mr. Luke.
