A remembered Chan movie?

Is there a Chan Movie which features a secret panel
and tunnel leading to the grease pit of a garage? I'm
almost positive that I saw this movie on TV in the early fifties. If so, what is its title? If not, does anyone remember this movie and its title?

Re: A remembered Chan movie?

Dear Mr.(?) Whelan,

I can honestly tell you that this does not come close to any scene from any Charlie Chan movie from the series. Now, having only seen a few of the Charlie Chan TV series ("The New Adventures of Charlie Chan") which appeared in the late '50s, I might suggest that a scene such as you describe may have appeared in one of these shows.

Sincerely,
Rush Glick

Re: A remembered Chan movie?

Well....there maybe more than one film..But Im
pretty sure you're probably thinking of
"Murder By Invitation" from Monogram in 1941...
It has the scene you describe towards the end of
the film....some of the stars include Wallace Ford
Sarah Padden & Dave O'Brien....highly recommended.
