Noel Neill AND James Hong...

This weekend, I will be going up to L.A. for a TV and movie personality signing. For a couple of months, i have anticipated seeing Noel Neill, who was in the last Chan film, "The Sky Dragon." Just yesterday, I learned that James Hong, who played Chan's number one son, Barry, in "The New Adventures of Charlie Chan," will also be there! If anyone has any last-minute questions for either of both, please let me know.

Also, those who suggested questions earlier, please feel free to resubmit, as I have been a bit chaotic lately and may have trouble finding what was sent to me, etc.

Sincerely,
Rush Glick

Re: Noel Neill AND James Hong...

I have a question for James Hong:

Why did they do the Chan series in England (presuming he knows)?

It's ironic, given the plans that Monogram had to make more movies over there after The Sky Dragon.

Re: Noel Neill AND James Hong...

My understanding (from someone who met her in Memphis) is that Noel Neill doesn't remember a lot about making Sky Dragon, so I'll chime in with a Superman question.

Is she participating in the upcoming DVD release of the Superman TV show and does she know if there are plans to release more than one season?

Have fun Rush! I've always wanted to go to one of these events, but not too many stars travel to Iowa. Thanks for asking these questions for us!

Re: Noel Neill AND James Hong...

I notice Gale Storm will also be there. You might try to get her phone number :) To say I had a crush on Margie is an understatement.

Also Patricia Morrison...she was in some Holmes and Thin Man movies...

I won't even mention Jane Russell.....

Re: Noel Neill AND James Hong...

Hi Rush....

I would like to know a few of Mr Hong's personal
thoughts about working with The "Legendary"
J.Carrol Naish...I've long admired Him as one of
the Greatest Charactor actors of all time, especially
since he made sooo many appearances in Horror films.
I'd just like to know if he was a decent fellow to
work with.

cheers/thanks/mike
