Charlie Chan original Script

I have an original Charlie Chan script entitled Charlie Chan at the Wax Museum dated May 9, 1940 and wondered if it had any value. It appears to be Joan Valeries copy.

Thanks

Lila

Re: Charlie Chan original Script

Dear Lila,

I have bought Charlie Chan scripts on eBay for amounts ranging between about $250 - $300. If your script was used, and perhaps signed, by Joan Valerie, who played Lili Latimer in the movie, the value could be somewhat more.

If you are a fan of Charlie Chan, my suggestion would be that you keep the script, treasure and enjoy it, and, most importantly, preserve it as a valuable historic document.

Sincerely,
Rush Glick

Re: Re: Charlie Chan original Script

Thanks for the response Rush.

I have boxes and boxes of things from my diseased aunt's estate and just started to go through them, pulling out things that appear to have value to cover her estates bills.

I am not a movie fan of any kind, so they have no fan value to me.

Yes, the script is signed and I have a Charlie Chan pictures with Ms. Valerie. Looks like a publicity picture that was handed out during that time period, but it is unsigned.

Thanks for your help.
