The proposed movie that you are probably thinking of is now supposedly in the works at 20th Century-Fox. It is a Lucy Liu project that will feature her and will be called "Charlie Chan." Ms. Liu will portray Charlie Chan's granddaughter, and the film is scheduled for release in 2007.
