Greetings on what I trust to be a fine Monday for everyone…
Please join us tonight as our Chat/Film Viewing will feature “Castle in the Desert” starring Sidney Toler. A perfect remedy for those of us who may have felt the chill breath of winter of late! Charlie Chan ventures into the searing heat of the Mojave Desert to a strange, isolated castle. where he, and Number Two Son, Jimmy, find themselves involved in yet another perplexing case of murder. But will the detective be able to solve this mystery before he, himself, falls victim to the cunning killer? We shall see, as we watch this, the last of the Fox Chan films…
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., EASTERN time with arrivals and greetings. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very fine film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
