does anyone know in which Charlie C picture amyl nitrate appears - I heard that it was used as a reviver called Rush http://www.rush-poppers.org/forum in this day and age and sold as poppers.

The substance amyl nitrate was administered to Patrick Tait by his travelling companion Mark Kennaway after the former collapsed in a scene in the film "Charlie Chan Carries On". Amyl nitrate was used in those days as an antidote to treat angina pectoris, but commonly used today to heighten sexual stimulation in the form of "poppers", as you indicate.
