I own an original US "Charlie Chan in Shanghai" six sheet poster and I was wondering if anyone else here has ever seen one? I am not looking to sell it at this time. I am looking for info that will provide me with an accurate idea to the scarceness of the poster. So far, I have not found anyone that knows of another copy. Please let me know if you know of any others. I would be willing to provide a photo if you are curious to what it looks like. Thanks for your time.

I have not seen one, but you might want to check with Claude Litton. He's a mega collector of Chan posters. A google search should turn up some contact info on him. He's been written up in several articles because of his large and unique collection. His e-mail starts with something like CLSHOWROOM, but's it's been awhile since I've seen it so I can't be more specific.

Alternately you might go to the message board at www.charliechan.net and post a message called "ATTN CLAUDE LITTON". He's been known to post there from time to time.

There are definitely some Chan posters that are quite rare. I've never seen a domestic one sheet for Paris or Secret and an image of Treasure Island just became available about a year or so ago.
