This is not entirely off topic as one of the Moto films (Mr. Moto's Gamble) was intended to be a Chan film but was redone as a Moto after Warner Oland walked off the set and later passed away. Keye Luke puts in an appearance as Lee Chan and Chan stalwarts Harold Huber and Doug Fowley are also present.
Glad to hear about the Mr.Moto set....i have only seen one of the films (quite a while back...iirc; early scenes taking place on a passenger ship).
I assume that the release of follow-up sets will depend (at least in part)on sales?...My guess is that aside from those who actually recognize the character/series, that alot will depend on people who are interested in classic mystery/serials etc...?
My second UNeducated guess would be that the Chan set will also be tapping into "genre' fans...and that it will be an even better-than-expected success!
